New Highlight at Bihu Park--Bamboo Cottage

A new feature has been added to Bihu Park in Neihu District. The ‘Bihu Bamboo Cottage’, nestled on the edge of Bihu lake, will meet the public at 5 PM, June 21 amid a celebrations and performances. Residents are invited to visit the cottage which opens from 6 AM to 10 PM every day until December 31.

Jointly created by landscaping artist Wang Wen-chih and local residents, the public art installation showcases bamboo weaving crafts with an innovative take. The pristine aurora exuded by the cottage brings out the serenity of the lake scenery, allowing visitors to relish inner tranquility while appreciating how an artwork can be blended into a natural setting.

Parks and Street Lights Office (PSLO) pointed out that Taipei boasts a diversity of parks with different characteristics. The agency encourages individuals or groups to submit proposals that seek to add color to existing public parks or recreational spaces.Bihu Park
