Following the ceremony at 9 AM on Saturday, the two mayors will lead the procession across Zhongzheng and Wanhua districts. Heralded by over 35 performers and musicians groups, the Golden-face Matsu will make her way back to the site of her former temple within the premises of the 228 Peace Memorial Park and “tour” Ximending before arriving at Taiwan Provincial City God Temple. A sojourn is planned for the Golden-face Matsu at the Taiwan Provincial City God Temple (Address: No. 14, Sec. 1, Wuchang Street, Zhongzheng District) between 5 PM on October 4 and 9 AM on October 7, where she will accept offerings from the local faithful. The goddess will then move on to Xiao Keelong Fucheng Temple (the host temple for 2014), where she will remain until October 11.To allow followers to find out the whereabouts of Golden-face Matsu, Xiao Keelong Fucheng Temple joined hands with Chunghwa Telecom’s ShowTaiwan to create an online service marking the real-time location of the goddess.
