Choukou Visitor Center shows world’s coins

The “Lin Jin-huang Coin Exhibition” had just kicked off on January 13, 2015 at the Choukou Visitor Center as held by the Alishan National Scenic Area Administration (hereafter referred to as The Administration) and will run until February 12, 2015. Classical coins from around the world and Taiwanese coins of various periods are there to lead visitors to a journey into the past.

“We can’t appreciate Mr. Lin Jin-huang’s support more,” Administration Director Tseng Han-chou said. Lin, an experienced coin connoisseur, lends his collections to The Administration and helps to introduce them to the public. He was also an award-winning Meishan Township magistrate and a senior officer of the former “Taiwan Province” Agriculture and Forestry Bureau. Lin immigrated to the United States years ago and served as a columnist at the Southern Chinese Daily News there.

The Administration is pleasured to exhibit Lin’s precious long-time collections so that visitors may expand their horizons during travel. Please find the exhibition on the center’s second floor. All interested members of the public are cordially invited to explore the show.
