Taipei-Hot weather is forecast Friday and people in most parts of Taiwan will see clear skies and the full moon on Mid-Autumn Festival night, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said.
Daytime highs of 31-34 degrees are expected across the country Friday, according to the CWB.
Eastern and northeastern Taiwan and mountainous areas across the island will see sporadic showers, the weather bureau said.
According to the bureau, chances are high that the public in most parts of Taiwan will have clear skies Friday and be able to see the full moon in the evening, which is Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival.
Although partly cloudy skies are forecast in northeastern areas, including Keelung and Yilan, people there will still catch a glimpse of the full moon because cloud cover will only be patchy, the bureau said.
