at Wat Pa Nong Bon Baan Sam Tatong East, Khun Han District, Sisaket Province, where villagers pay homage to a strange three-headed elephant statue Enshrined on a pedestal 3 meters high, water drips under the trunk under the tusks all year round. Under the trunk of the 3rd elephant head, from left to right, there are 3 stalactites growing out of the stalagmites and slowly dripping water every season, believed to be holy water. therefore bringing the alms bowl And there are villagers come to pray for blessings and ask for good fortune continuously.
Phra Preecha Thamiko, 37 years old, a monk said that originally this area was a forest area. near Phanom Dong Rak mountain range Thai-Cambodian border In the past, a herd of elephants came to drink water in this area. Later, the country prospered, the villagers moved in to live. and found evidence of elephant skeletons Currently those wild elephants are extinct from this area. Therefore, the temple has the idea of wanting to assimilate the minds of the villagers. An elephant statue was created in 2013 using craftsmen from Nakhon Ratchasima before moving the Erawan elephant from Nakhon Ratchasima to be enshrined at the temple.
