  • Zhushan Township – It was too quiet so a felt a slight oscillation that became stronger, about to panic but it fade, felt like 20 to 30 seconds.
  • tainan – Eerste keer voor mij ik weet dat taiwan een gevoelig gebied is maar voelde toch raar aan
  • Taichung – A gentle shaking for a few seconds. Heard something moving on shelf inside house. I was inside on the ground floor. 4:08 am, Feb 14, 2015
  • Kaohsiung – No damaged properties so far. Quite strong, Around 20150214 04:06AM
  • Kenting – No damage but moderate shaking. Woke us up.
  • Kaohsiung – Moderate shaking but quite long. So I knew it must have been a strong one further away.
  • Kaohsiung – Woke up when I felt the bed shaking. Must have lasted half a minute or so. Fair amount of side to side shaking. No damage to hotel that I am staying at with my family.
  • Kaohsiung – Woke me up with shaking for about 30 or 40 seconds. Started light and got gradually stronger then faded away. Shaking was not violent, more like a gentle rocking motion. Didn’t hear any sounds of damage or objects falling,
  • Kaohsiung – It was strong enough to wake us up shortly after 4 AM. the building was noisy and shaking.
  • kaohsiung – The building is shaking but no damaged was reported.
  • Chaiyi – woke up due to my bed shaking for a few seconds.
  • Da Keng, Taichung City – Light shaking that woke me in the early am No damage
  • Tainan – Nothing has been damaged.
  • caotun – lying in bed on ground floor. felt shaking
  • Taipei – Weak shaking for appx 10 seconds.
  • Taitung, melody hotel – Was at level 9… The place shook left to right, frames pictures were distorted, bottles fallen, felt like it lasted about 10 seconds… Dashed downstairs about a minute later… Traffic lights all malfunctioned. A few people went downstairs too… Others kept calling the reception. Fortunately no aftershocks and Internet still works.
  • Taichung – Shaking that made some things in the house rattle and woke me up. Went on for about 15 seconds, then stopped.
  • Tainan – Middle of night. Room moving. Floor 2. No obvious damage. Building in this country are mostly designed to be earthquake resistant.
