Kamphaeng Phet, A teenage amulet expert opened a booth next to a water park, opposite Sirikit Park, in Kamphaeng Phet Municipality, to earn extra income to help ease the burden on his family. Mr. Jirawat or Cooper, age 17, a Mathayom 6 student at Kamphaeng Phet Pittayakhom School, spends his mornings before going to school and on holidays setting up a booth to rent out amulets at the side of the water park, opposite Sirijit Uthayan Park, in Kamphaeng Phet Municipality, in order to earn extra income, help ease the burden on his family, and to learn about the beautiful art of Buddhist art in creating amulets and Buddha images from each era. Cooper said that the beginning of his career as a monk was when he looked at his father's amulets and liked them, so he began to study them until he became an expert. He started renting and changing hands, which gave him an income until he set up his own stall.
