What needs to be done now is to help and relieve the suffering of the people affected by the disaster in various areas. In terms of public utilities, roads, electricity, and tap water, more than 80% have been restored. The problem is the mud and garbage that has accumulated in the large amount of water in houses. We are therefore working to remove as much of this mud as possible. The Ministry of Interior has urgently sent relief equipment to the areas as much as possible. We have also ordered each provincial governor to find a place to dispose of various garbage, which will take several weeks.
Mr. Anutin added that the government, including the Ministry of Interior, is currently monitoring the situation in all areas, emphasizing to provincial governors to emphasize warning people in advance and evacuating people in the area if the situation is at a dangerous level.
