He was arrested at a hut in the middle of a fruit orchard in Khao Khoi Waen Subdistrict, Tha Mai District, Chanthaburi Province. He was later taken for questioning at the Chanthaburi Provincial Police Headquarters. The suspect claimed that he was unemployed and had no money to support his child, and that he had argued with his girlfriend, which led to his crime.
