Police join forces with local government officials to arrest 'Bow Ban Mai' after her husband was arrested for selling methamphetamine, and his wife took over because customers were so impressed that they followed her home to buy more. Police from Bang Mae Nang Police Station, together with the Bang Yai District Administration, searched a house in Tambon Ban Mai, Amphoe Bang Yai, Nonthaburi Province. They found Mr. Phonchaiya, 27, walking out of the house. When he saw the police, he looked shocked, so he was detained. He confessed that he had just used methamphetamine. Inside the house, they found Ms. Ari or 'Bow Ban Mai', 38, sitting with a sad face in the middle of the house. They asked to search her and found 3 methamphetamine pills in the suspect's left pants pocket. They also searched a brown pillow placed on the pillar in the middle of the house. When they cut it open, they found a black plastic bag with the bag tightly tied. An inspection found 10 blue zip-lock plastic bags, each containing a total of 1,924 methamphetamine pills. Previously, on August 2, Ms. Bow's husband was arrested by the Nonthaburi Provincial Police on charges of drug distribution. Today, Ms. Bow was also arrested on charges of drug distribution. Initially, the police charged Mr. Pornchaiya with drug possession and charged Ms. Bow with drug distribution.
