Government House, 8 Oct. - Cabinet approves appointment of "Chatchai Bangchuad" as new Secretary-General of the National Security Council, pushing "Jirayu" to become government spokesman. Mr. Jirayu Huangsap, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Acting Government Spokesperson, announced the results of the Cabinet meeting that the Cabinet meeting resolved to appoint Mr. Chatchai Bangchuad, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Council, as the new Secretary-General of the National Security Council (NSC), as proposed by Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense.
