'Dr. Ae Suchatvee' joins forces with all Democrat Party members to open for 'Democrat Party members', intending to start with small districts. Mr. Suchatvee Suwansawat, along with Mrs. Jemmas Junglertsiri, the party treasurer, former MPs of Bangkok, Mr. Pinij Kanchanachusak, Mr. Narongsak Muangsiri, Mr. Sarach Muangsiri, Mr. Naphaphon Jirakul, and Mr. Somchai Tempaiboonkul, members of the Bangkok Council, led Democrat Party officials and former candidates for Bangkok in several districts to Kulab Wittaya School, Samphanthawong District, to facilitate the people in applying for party membership and to publicize the activities that the party will organize soon. The atmosphere was lively, warm, and friendly. 'We started small, starting from Samphanthawong District, but it is the heart of Bangkok. I would like to thank the people, thank Councilor Pinij. Today, I am very happy because I expected to have more than a hundred people, but I think it will be more than 500 people. Today, I consider it a great success ,' said Mr. Suchatvee. Mr. Suchatvee also provided knowledge about the draft Public Safety Act B.E. … which is a 'people's version' law to establish an 'independent host' to act on behalf of all citizens in matters of public safety impartially. It has now been submitted to the parliament for consideration to include it in the agenda. If it passes the legislative and administrative processes, it will create an organization to prevent dangers to the public and reduce the enormous losses because fires, factory explosions, chemical leaks, bridge collapses, falling objects, road collapses, boat capsizing, and people falling into drains die 'repeatedly' while there is currently no 'host' to receive the case, follow up, learn from it, and find the responsible person, as well as provide compensation to those who lost their lives from the incident. The proposal of the safety bill is a 'first step' and an 'important step' to lead Thailand towards creating a sustainable safe society. Source: Thai News Agency
