The flood situation in Nong Khai Province has begun to spread more widely. At noon, the water level was 13.28 meters, 1.08 meters higher than the bank. It began to push into the drainage pipes along the Mekong River in the Nong Khai Municipality area, flooding the Mekong River Road. The Provincial Administrative Organization and Nong Khai Municipality have spread sand and sacks at various points to prevent water from flowing into the roads in the economic district in the heart of Nong Khai. While in Ban Wiang Kuk, the Mekong River surged into the area in Villages 1, 2, 3, 4, and 7, with approximately 900 households. The water flooded the houses of villagers along the Mekong River to a depth of approximately 1 meter. The police, together with the Subdistrict Municipality, helped evacuate vulnerable people, the elderly, bedridden pati ents, and young children from their flooded homes to temporarily stay at the homes of relatives who were safe.
