SEOUL, Oct. 29 (Yonhap) -- Hanwha Systems on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net income of 8.1 billion won (US$5.9 million), down 80.2 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the July-September period rose 43.7 percent on-year to 57 billion won. Sales increased 3 percent to 639.2 billion won. The operating profit was 24.4 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
