Taipei: Nvidia Corp. CEO Jensen Huang announced Monday that his company has selected "Beitou Shilin" in Taipei for its new Taiwan office, named Nvidia Constellation, concluding months of speculation.
According to Focus Taiwan, industry sources have indicated that Nvidia has been considering the Beitou Shilin Science Park as the location for its new overseas headquarters. It is speculated that the new headquarters will be situated on two plots of land designated as "T17" and "T18," covering 3.89 hectares within the park.
During his keynote speech at Computex in Taipei, Huang stated, "I think it's time for us to reveal one of the largest products we've ever built." As Nvidia's operations and partnerships in Taiwan expand, the current premises have exceeded capacity, necessitating a new office in Taiwan.
Huang also mentioned that he has informed Taipei Mayor Chiang Wan-an about Nvidia's intention to establish operations on the site, which will require the mayor's approval to transfer a lease from the current occupant.
