Korea Aerospace Industries Ltd. on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net profit of 67.9 billion won (US$49.1 million), up 28.4 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the July-September period rose 16.7 percent on-year to 76.3 billion won. Sales decreased 9.9 percent to 907.2 billion won. The operating profit was 12.0 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
