LG Energy Solution Ltd. on Monday reported its third-quarter net profit of 561.3 billion won (US$404.2 million), up 33.5 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the July-September period fell 38.7 percent on-year to 448.3 billion won. Sales decreased 16.4 percent to 6.87 trillion won. The earnings exceeded market expectations.
