Lotte Chilsung Beverage Co. on Tuesday reported its second-quarter net income of 21.1 billion won (US$15.2 million), down 36.1 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the April-June period rose 1.8 percent on-year to 60.2 billion won. Revenue increased 38.1 percent to 1.09 trillion won. The earnings fell behind market expectations.
