The Meteorological Department warns the lower North, Northeast, Central and East regions that there will be very heavy rain in some areas. The South will see less rain. As for Bangkok and its vicinity, there will be 80% chance of thunderstorms and heavy rain in some areas.
The Meteorological Department forecasts that in the next 24 hours, Thailand will experience continuous rain and some areas will experience heavy rain, with some areas in the lower North, the Northeast, the Central, and the East experiencing very heavy rain. This is because the rather strong monsoon trough is passing through the lower North, the upper Central, and the Northeast, entering the low-pressure cell over Hainan Island, China. People in the aforementioned areas should beware of the dangers of heavy to very heavy rain and accumulated rain, which may cause flash floods and forest runoff, especially in areas on slopes near waterways and lowlands. Meanwhile, the rather strong southwest monsoon blowing across the Andaman Sea, Thailand,
and the Gulf of Thailand is beginning to weaken, causing the South to experience less rain, but there will still be heavy rain in some areas.
For waves in the upper Andaman Sea and the upper Gulf of Thailand, they are moderate with waves approximately 2 meters high. In areas with thunderstorms, waves are higher than 2 meters.
The lower Andaman Sea and the lower Gulf of Thailand have waves 1-2 meters high. In areas with thunderstorms and far from shore, waves are higher than 2 meters. Sailors in the aforementioned areas are advised to sail with caution and avoid sailing in areas with thunderstorms.
Bangkok and its vicinity will experience thunderstorms in 80 percent of the area, with heavy rain in some areas. Minimum temperature 25-26 degrees Celsius, maximum temperature 31-33 degrees Celsius.
