Naver Corp. on Friday reported its second-quarter net income of 332.1 billion won (US$241.1 million), up 15.8 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 472.7 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 372.7 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 8.4 percent to 2.61 trillion won. The earnings fell short of market expectations.
