South Korea lost to Norway 26-20 in its third Group A match of the women's handball tournament at South Paris Arena 6 in Paris. South Korea remained in fifth place among six nations in Group A with two points, on a win and two losses. The team opened the competition with a 23-22 win over Germany last Thursday but has dropped two straight matches since. Slovenia also has two points but trail South Korea in goal difference, -12 to -20. With matches against European giants Sweden and Denmark remaining, South Korea faces an uphill battle to crack the top four in the group and book a spot in the quarterfinals. Against Norway, the runner-up at last year's world championships, South Korea battled hard early before running out of steam.
