Korean American pastor Choi Jae-young, who secretly filmed himself handing over a luxury Dior handbag to first lady Kim Keon Hee two years ago, was questioned by police on the charge of stalking Thursday. The Seoul Seocho Police Station grilled Choi in the morning after receiving a stalking-related complaint against him from a conservative civic group in January. Arriving at the station at 9:50 a.m., Choi denied his stalking charge, saying Kim should have reported him to the police or the presidential security service if she thought of him as a stalker ahead of their meeting in Seoul in September 2022. Choi has been questioned or been investigated by other police stations and the prosecution on charges of trespassing and violating the election and anti-graft laws in connection with the luxury bag case.
