"Prasert", Pheu Thai core leader, declined to answer the trend of pushing "Paetongtarn" to replace "Chaikasem". Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Acting Minister of Digital Economy and Society and a core leader of the Pheu Thai Party (PTP), gave an interview about the Pheu Thai Party MPs' resolution to change the prime ministerial candidate to Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the leader of the Pheu Thai Party, saying that he did not attend the meeting and asked to wait for the party executive committee's resolution first. When asked whether Mr. Chaikasem might be concerned about his time as attorney general, as he ordered not to prosecute Mr. Phichit Chuenban, a former minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office, in a case of contempt of court, which may be unethical, Mr. Prasert said he did not know yet and there were no concerns from the party.
