Renault Korea Motors Co., the South Korean unit of French auto group Renault S.A., said Tuesday it has begun mass production of its new hybrid SUV, the Grand Koleos. The company said it held a celebration for the first unit of the Grand Koleos at its manufacturing plant in the southern port city of Busan on Monday. Renault Korea's new D-segment hybrid SUV is the company's first new model since the XM3 in 2020. The vehicle features a family-friendly 4,780-millimeter body length and a 2,820-millimeter wheelbase, offering generous second-row space and comfortable leg room. Preorders for the new Grand Koleos have been available since its global debut at the 2024 Busan International Mobility Show last month. The model is scheduled to be delivered this fall.
