Bangkok, The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) asks EA249A bondholders to exercise their rights to attend the bondholder meeting, study information, and ask questions of the issuer or bondholder representatives to obtain complete and sufficient information for making a decision on August 14, 2024. As Energy Absolute Public Company Limited (EA) as the issuer of EA249A bonds will hold the 1/2024 bondholders' meeting on August 14, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. via electronic media (E-Meeting) with the following agenda items for consideration and approval: Agenda Item 1 (a) Extending the maturity date for redemption of the debentures for another 9 months and 1 day without being considered an event of default and increasing the interest rate by another 1.80 percent per year from the original 3.20 percent per year to 5.00 percent per year during the period requested for extension. (b) Adding collateral to the debentures. The SEC has required the bondholder representative (Siam Commercial Bank Public Company Limited) to analyze the advantages, disadvantages, benefits and impacts that bondholders will receive from the resolution to approve or disapprove each option clearly with supporting reasons, including the opinion of the bondholder representative. The SEC therefore requests that bondholders study the information carefully and exercise their rights as bondholders to protect their own interests, as well as to inquire about various information from the bondholder representative in order to have complete information to support their decision to vote in the bondholder meeting.
