Taiwan Automation and Robot Show Unveils Cutting-Edge AI Innovations

Taipei: The Taiwan Automation Intelligence and Robot Show, being held from August 20 to 23 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, is set to showcase the latest advancements in AI-driven robotics and automation technologies, the organizer announced on Sunday.

According to Focus Taiwan, the event will spotlight applications in smart manufacturing and information and communications technology.

More than 1,000 companies are expected to display innovations spanning semiconductors, electromechanics, industrial automation, and intelligent manufacturing. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore automated guided vehicles (AGVs), 3D machine vision systems, and AI-powered applications, alongside a comprehensive array of robots.

The exhibits will feature a variety of robotic technologies, including industrial robots, robotic arms, defense and security robots, home-use robots, specialized robotics, and educational robots. Notable domestic participants comprise ASUS, Delta Electronics, TECO, Shihlin Electric, and Advantech, while international exhibitors will include Mitsubishi Electric, Kawasaki, Fanuc, Denso, Yaskawa, Epson, Nachi, Panasonic, igus, and Siemens.

In a separate press release, Delta Electronics disclosed plans to showcase collaborative robots and AI sensor modules as part of its intelligent robotics solutions, alongside smart integration systems tailored for warehousing, logistics, semiconductor manufacturing, and data center operations. Meanwhile, TECO indicated it will concentrate on key process control and high-efficiency smart motion applications, as well as power system solutions and drone motors.
