Taipei: The Taiwan Stock Exchange’s main index started the day on a positive note, opening up 63.84 points at 32,381.76. This increase in the index was observed as the trading session commenced on Wednesday.

According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover for the market was recorded at NT$8.51 billion, which is equivalent to approximately US$266.38 million.
