Bangkok, The Air Force Commander confirmed that Olympic athletes affiliated with the Air Force will definitely receive rewards if they win medals. Air Chief Marshal Panpakdee Pattanakul, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, spoke about the Olympic athletes who are Air Force personnel and received medals in this competition, namely Flight Lieutenant (Female) Panipak Wongpattanakit or Nong Tennis, a female taekwondo athlete who won a gold medal in the 49 kg women's taekwondo category, and Flight Sergeant (Female) Chanchaem Suwanpheng, a bronze medalist in the 66 kg women's boxing category, saying that the Air Force already has criteria for consideration. Initially, if they are not civil servants but have won a medal from a competition, they will be inducted into the civil service. But if they are already in government service, they will definitely receive a bonus. The committee is currently considering it and should reach a conclusion before both of them return to Thailand on August 13th. Source : Thai News Agency
