Mr. Chai Wachirong, spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office, revealed that the Cabinet meeting resolved to approve the appointment of civil servants to hold senior executive positions in the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) and the Ministry of Interior (MOI), as follows: The Cabinet resolved to approve the proposal of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation to appoint Mr. Supachai Patumnakul, a civil servant in the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, to the position of Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, to replace the person in the position who will retire from government service, effective from 1 October 2024 onwards, effective from the date of His Majesty's gracious appointment. The Cabinet resolved to approve the proposal of the Ministry of Interior to appoint Mr. Orsit Sampantharat, a civil servant in the position of Director-General of the Department of Provincial Administration, to the position of Permanent Secretary, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, to replace the person in the position who will retire from government service, effective from 1 October 2024 onwards, from the date of His Majesty's gracious appointment.
