Police at Plaeng Yao Police Station went to the area to investigate the incident inside one of the houses, Moo 12, Hua Samrong Subdistrict, Plaeng Yao District, Chachoengsao Province and found Mrs. Phatcharee, 67, lying dead at the entrance of the house. The corpse was physically assaulted with hard objects and sharp objects around the face and several wounds to the head.

At the scene, no perpetrators and assault weapons were found. The officer then asked Ms. Saowalak, 71, the sister of the deceased and who was at the incident, who said that the perpetrator was Mr. Supakit Meesak, the deceased’s grandson. and is a psychiatric patient

Before the incident, it was known that the belongings of the deceased’s house were missing. The deceased thought that Mr. Supakit was the thief. So there was a serious controversy. and the deceased accused Mr. Supakit by using vulgar and harsh words until Mr. Supakit walked out of the house Thinking that the matter would be over, after a while, Mr. Supakit walked into the house with a spade in his hand. When meeting the deceased, Mr. Supakit used a spade to hit the deceased’s face and head several times before fleeing.

After the incident, the officers distributed their forces to arrest Mr. Supakit. The hoe was found abandoned in the thickets of grass beside the road. As for Mr. Supakit, officers were able to arrest him along the Ao Chang Lai route. preliminary investigation testified pleaded guilty to all charges.-Thai News Agency
