The Prime Minister leads the Cabinet in laying wreaths on the occasion of King Naresuan the Great Day, 13 October. At 8:30 a.m. on October 13, 2024, at the King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great Memorial Park, Phitsanulok Road, Dusit District, Bangkok, Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, Prime Minister, led the cabinet in laying wreaths on the occasion of King Naresuan the Great Day, October 13, 2024. The Prime Minister paid his respects and laid two wreaths on behalf of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet in front of the King Rama IX Monument and paid his respects before returning. Reporters reported that within the park area, there were representatives of government agencies, the military, the private sector, the public, students, and various organizations who came to lay wreaths to express their gratitude. During his return trip, the Prime Minister spoke with Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, in his capacity as Director of the CPOC, about the preparations for the CPOC meeting o n October 15, which the Prime Minister will attend to monitor the progress of the situation and the rehabilitation of the area himself. The reporter reported that at 5:00 p.m., the Prime Minister and his spouse waited to welcome His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen in the royal merit-making ceremony on King Bhumibol Adulyadej Memorial Day, B.E. 2567, at the Amarin Winitchai Throne Hall in the Grand Palace.
