Taipei: The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, gaining NT$0.033 to close at NT$30.205. Turnover totaled US$926 million during the trading session.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at NT$30.160 and fluctuated between NT$30.125 and NT$30.225 before the close.
