Taipei: The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, gaining NT$0.065 to close at the day’s high of NT$30.761. Turnover during the trading session totaled US$1.725 billion.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at NT$30.740 and moved to a low of NT$30.645 before rebounding.
