Taipei: The U.S. dollar strengthened against the Taiwan dollar on Thursday, rising NT$0.085 to conclude the day at a high of NT$30.715.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a turnover of US$1.315 billion. The greenback initially opened at NT$30.680, dipping to a low of NT$30.633 before making a recovery.
