Taipei: The U.S. dollar rose against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, gaining NT$0.089 to close at the day’s high of NT$30.838.

According to Focus Taiwan, the turnover totaled US$1.15 billion during the trading session. The trading day saw the greenback opening at the day’s low of NT$30.760.
