Taipei: The U.S. dollar strengthened against the Taiwan dollar on Wednesday, recording a gain of NT$0.037 to close at NT$31.254.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a total turnover of US$1.32 billion. The U.S. dollar began the day at NT$31.190 and fluctuated between a low of NT$31.187 and a high of NT$31.256 before the market closed.
