Taipei: The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.135 to close at NT$30.450. Turnover totaled US$923 million during the trading session.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at the day’s high of NT$30.530, and moved to a low of NT$30.386 before rebounding.
