Taipei: The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.093 to close at NT$30.522. Turnover totaled US$1.26 billion during the trading session.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at the day’s high of NT$30.600 and moved to a low of NT$30.454 before rebounding.
