Taipei: The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, shedding NT$0.015 to close at NT$31.508. Turnover totaled US$942 million during the trading session.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at NT$31.510, and moved between NT$31.485 and NT$31.544 before the close.
