Taipei: The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Tuesday, shedding NT$0.033 to close at NT$31.633. Turnover totaled US$2.054 billion during the trading session.

According to Focus Taiwan, the greenback opened at NT$31.640 and fluctuated between NT$31.590 and NT$31.695 before the close.
