Taipei: The U.S. dollar experienced a significant rise against the Taiwan dollar on Monday, surging by NT$0.151 to finish at NT$30.696, which was the highest point of the day.

According to Focus Taiwan, the trading session saw a total turnover of US$1.735 billion. The U.S. dollar began the day at its lowest point of NT$30.570, with increased momentum leading to the strong close by the end of the session.
