The National Water Resources Office announced a watch for high tides from 13-24 October 2024. Due to the influence of high seawater, combined with the floodwater from the upper part of the river basin flowing down to join, causing the water level in the river to rise, risking flooding in low-lying areas along the Chao Phraya River, Tha Chin River, and Mae Klong River, communities outside the embankment and temporary dams in areas without permanent water protection (gap lines), therefore, please monitor the risk areas of Samut Prakan Province, Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Sakhon, Nakhon Pathom, and Samut Songkhram.
