Yonhap News TV has appointed An Soo-hun as its new CEO at meetings of its shareholders and board of directors. An, a senior executive at Yonhap Infomax, the financial news and information arm of Yonhap News Agency, will begin his three-year term starting Thursday at the 24-hour all-news TV channel. A graduate of public administration from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, he began his journalism career at The Segye Times in 1991. He joined Yonhap News, the country's leading newswire service, in 1994, where he covered various beats including domestic politics and international affairs.
