Mr. Surin or Ton, aged 40, submitted supporting documents to file a complaint with the Foundation for the Restoration of Social Justice after passing the exam for the position of prisoner control officer at the Department of Corrections, but was rejected, claiming that his educational qualifications did not match the recruitment announcement. He had passed all the examination steps and was scheduled to receive a report letter at the Department of Corrections, but on May 16, an officer called to inform him that his educational qualifications did not match the recruitment announcement. He explained and had the Samut Sakhon Physical Education College certify that his qualifications were at the same level as an associate degree, as advertised, but the officer still avoided th e question, saying that he could not be accepted into the civil service. When asked, he only received apologies, claiming that the documents were incorrectly checked.
