CORONAVIRUS/Taiwan reports 10 new COVID-19 cases, zero deaths

Taiwan on Sunday reported 10 new cases of COVID-19 — six transmitted domestically and four contracted overseas — and zero deaths from the disease, according to the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).

Three of the domestic cases were reported in Taipei, and one each in New Taipei, Taoyuan and Yunlin County.

The new cases bring the total in Taiwan to 15,926, of which 14,338 are domestic infections reported since May 15, when the country first recorded more than 100 COVID-19 cases in a single day.

To date, 828 people have died of COVID-19 in Taiwan, including 816 since May 15.
