Maha Sarakham, Forest fire in Khok Hin Lat community, Mueang District, Maha Sarakham Province, has burned down more than 100 rai, affecting wildlife. Officials believe it is caused by human activity. But no one has ever been caught doing it.

In the middle of the last night at the Khok Hin Lad community forest area Near Ban Rong Boum, Khok Ko Subdistrict, Mueang District, Maha Sarakham Province Firefighters and volunteer forest rangers, along with water trucks, control forest fires. After some villagers illegally burned them to get forest products. Meanwhile, the village headman announced a news tower warning villagers fearing it would spread into the village. Because at some points the car couldn’t go in to extinguish the fire.

The fire spread over a wide area, combined with strong winds, causing damage to more than 100 rai of the total forest area of ??more than 2,000 rai, resulting in distress for wild animals such as deer, foxes, hare, snakes, turtles, squirrels, and chipmunks.
