Taipei: The Taiwan Stock Exchange’s main index started the day positively, registering an increase of 55 points to reach 23,373.67. This upward movement in the index came with an initial turnover of NT$5.16 billion, equivalent to approximately US$175.99 million.

According to Focus Taiwan, the opening figures reflect a positive sentiment in the market as investors engaged in early trading activities. The turnover volume indicates active participation, suggesting investor confidence in the market’s performance.
