Bangkok, The Minister of Education opened the International Council of Education meeting, inviting educational networks around the world to jointly elevate and develop education in a changing global environment. The Office of the Education Council Secretariat, in collaboration with the International Organization for Education, organized the International Education Council Seminar on Education Competitiveness in a Globally Changing Envionmant, chaired by Pol. Gen. Permpoon Chidchob, Minister of Education, with many executives from the Ministry of Education and educational personnel in attendance. Pol. Gen. Therefore, all sectors are asked to join together to revolutionize education, solve the country's problems, and cooperate in developing education to truly respond to the changes that are occurring. Today will be the starting point for further cooperation. Once we have the information and various principles, the OHEC will compile and present them to the Education Council meeting, which will have educational experts to consider and develop education to be consistent with education in the country. Dr. Atthaphon Sangkhawasi, Secretary-General of the Education Council, said that organizing this meeting is considered an elevation of the work of the Office of the Secretary-General of the Education Council to a world-class level and is a preparation for Thailand to step into the OECD. However, the rapidly and severely changing environment has increasingly affected the management of education. In addition, the Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) stated that the next era is the era of 'global warming'. What affects Thailand is the climate and the changing environment. These things affect education and employment. Today's meeting is a gathering of opinions and exchanging experiences in the management of education in various countr ies, whether they are ASEAN member countries, Asian countries, and European countries, in order to find ways to develop an educational curriculum that will create competitiveness for Thai youth in an era of changing environment.
