Provinces across the country held a ceremony to bless holy water to His Majesty the King on the auspicious occasion of his 72nd birthday. The sacred water blessing ceremony in Chiang Mai Province, which collected water from 3 sacred water sources, Ang Ka Luang on Doi Inthanon, Chom Thong District, water from Khun Nam Mae Ping, Chiang Dao District, and the sacred well from Wat Buppararam, Mueang Chiang Mai District, was brought to perform the ceremony inside the royal chapel at Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan this evening. Mr. Nirat Phongsitthaworn, Chiang Mai Governor, led government officials and locals to join the ceremony of chanting holy water and lighting incense sticks and candles in front of the offerings in front of the Lai Kham Temple before entering the Royal Temple to perform the ceremony. 73 high-ranking monks chanted together and senior monks meditated, prayed, and chanted holy water in the ceremony to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty the King's 60th Birthday Anniversary before performing the candlelight procession to celebrate the holy water tomorrow (8 July). At the Ubosot of Wat That Phra Aram Luang, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, Mr. Kraisorn Kongchalat, Governor of Khon Kaen Province, presided over the ceremony to bless holy water to His Majesty the King, with government officials and members of the public joining the ceremony.
