Taipei:The U.S. dollar appreciated against the Taiwan dollar on Thursday, concluding the trading session with a gain of NT$0.020 to finish at NT$32.508.

According to Focus Taiwan, the total turnover during the trading session amounted to US$2.771 billion.

The U.S. dollar began the day at NT$32.470 and fluctuated between NT$32.450 and NT$32.642 before the market closed.
